Big Time Gaming Cons:
Licenses and Restricted Countries/Regions
With licenses from Alderney, Malta, Gibraltar, and the United Kingdom, Big Time Gaming can offer their games pretty much anywhere online gambling is legal, including Canada. They even have agreements with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Loto Quebec, which allows them to offer their games on those government-operated betting sites. Big Time Gaming does not provide their products in countries where gambling is illegal.
Trustworthiness
Just looking at the list of jurisdictions in which Big Time Gaming has received licenses should give Canadians every reason to believe in Big Time Gaming’s level of trustworthiness and integrity. Moreover, the Random Number Generator technology they use is subject to regular auditing by leading independent testing agencies. While many games are high variance, all game outcomes are random and 100% fair.
Big Time Gaming has earned a good reputation within the industry. However, their image took a bit of a hit in 2016 when, unbeknownst to senior staff, a junior staff member got caught shilling for the company at a popular gambling forum. Needless to say, this was rather embarrassing for Big Time Gaming. CEO Nik Robinson quickly ironed things out, and the company hasn’t fallen prey to any bad press since. This episode was far from scandalous and shouldn’t shake your confidence in Big Time Gaming or the quality of their products.
Desktop and Mobile Experiences
In 2013, Big Time Gaming partnered with CORE Gaming, which is a highly regarded developer of HTML5-based games. This move enabled them to produce top-quality games for the mobile market. Now, all Big Time Gaming releases are available on desktop and mobile platforms, and many of their earlier titles have also been re-released on both platforms. Mobile users will be delighted with the steady and uninterrupted flow of the games along with the vivid graphics and sounds. Games are easy to navigate and operate even on the smallest mobile screens.
Big Time Gaming Games
Big Time Gaming’s catalogue of games consists of about 20 titles, which isn’t exactly awe-inspiring. However, like some other smaller software studios, Big Time Gaming focuses on quality over quantity. One of their latest releases, Opal Fruits, uses Big Time Gaming’s Triple Reaction mechanism, which makes the reels spin in three directions. The re-trigger multiplier has yielded payouts up to 36,000 times the original bet.
One of their most successful titles is Temple Quest: Spinfinity, which is similar to NetEnt’s Gonzo’s Quest. Not only does White Rabbit: Megaways give players a shot at a nice-sized jackpot, the visuals and sound effects are easy to get caught up in. With 6 reels, Danger High Voltage gives you over 4,000 ways to win while the 5-reel Bonanza game offers incredible 117,649 ways to win. Another one of their newest 6-reel releases is Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Megaways, which has loads of free spins, scatters, and wilds. Use your 50:50, Phone a Friend or Ask the Audience. This Megaways game also gives you 117,649 ways to win.
In addition to their innovative collection of video slots, Big Time Gaming has dabbled in table games and offers Auto Blackjack, Auto Roulette, VIP Roulette, and Finest Roulette.
