Every CasinoInspectors dossier is a field report: what an inspector found on a given date, written down so you can check it yourself. A report is not a warranty. This page sets out what our inspections can and cannot tell you. Our terms of use and affiliate disclosure cover the rest of the ground.

An inspector, not a gaming venue

Nothing can be wagered on casinoinspectors.com. There are no player accounts here, no cashier, no balances and no games for money. Each casino we describe is run by its own company under its own terms, and that company alone decides whether to accept your registration, verify your identity, honour a bonus or release a withdrawal. When something goes wrong with an account, the first stop is the operator's support desk; after that, whichever regulator or complaints body its licence names. We want to hear about it too, since repeated complaints shape the next version of a dossier. We cannot, however, recover funds or step into an argument between you and a casino.

Canada is ten markets, not one

Canadian gaming rules differ from one province to the next. Private online casinos may take Ontario players once the AGCO has registered them and iGaming Ontario has signed them up; Alberta, for its part, now licenses a private market too. In the remaining provinces the Crown lottery corporation runs the sanctioned online casino, and offshore sites sit in a grey zone. Which regime covers you turns on the province you are actually in at the moment you bet, and checking that falls to you. Our pages describe the rules as we understood them on the date printed at the top; they are not a legal opinion and they do not replace advice from a lawyer licensed in your province.

Real-money play is restricted to adults — 19+ in nearly every province and territory, with Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec set at 18+. Expect an ID check before your first payout. Under that threshold where you live? Then our operator links are not for you.

No legal, tax or financial advice

Some dossiers explain how casino winnings are treated for tax purposes, how Interac or crypto deposits work, or how a new provincial rule is likely to play out. That material is general background. It cannot weigh your personal circumstances, and whether a particular win is taxable is a matter for an accountant or for the CRA itself, not for a review site.

Bonus terms move faster than we do

Welcome packages, free spins, wagering multiples, maximum bets during wagering, game weighting, deposit minimums and withdrawal caps are written by the operator and can be rewritten without notice. We record what was published when we last inspected the offer, and the date of that inspection is on the page. What counts is the wording on the casino's own site when you register. Read it in full, and pay particular attention to the bet limit while a bonus is active, the excluded games and how many days you have to clear the playthrough. In Ontario, regulated operators may not advertise inducements at all; any bonus figures we mention refer to markets outside Ontario.

Scores are judgements

Our ratings come from the four checks described under how we rate: licence and registration, payout record, bonus terms and player support. Another team could weigh the same evidence differently. Top position in a list says the operator did best against our criteria on inspection day; it is no promise that the casino fits your habits, that you will win, or that it will still look the same next month.

Observations age

When a dossier says a withdrawal landed within a day or live chat answered in two minutes, that describes what happened on that occasion. Casinos change owners, payment partners and internal rules. Check the inspection date before you rely on an older observation.

Crypto deposits

Several operators accept bitcoin and other digital currencies. Prices can swing sharply between deposit and withdrawal, network fees vary, a transfer to a wrong wallet address is normally unrecoverable, and you give up the chargeback protection a card offers. Our guides explain how these payments work; they do not recommend buying or holding any cryptocurrency.

Slots, RTP and systems

Return-to-player percentages, volatility and hit rates are theoretical values published by game studios and measured over millions of spins. They say nothing about your next session, and the same title may run at a lower RTP at one casino than at another. No staking pattern removes the house edge.

Where our casino buttons go

Every “Visit” button routes through a casinoinspectors.com address beginning with /go/, and an operator may pay a commission when someone we referred registers. Our affiliate disclosure has the details. As soon as you land at the casino, its terms and privacy rules govern your visit; its content and security are outside our reach.

Trademarks and third-party facts

We name brands, reproduce logos and mention slot titles solely so a reader can tell which product a dossier covers; all of them remain the property of their rights holders. Licence details, ownership and game suppliers come from the operators, regulators and testing laboratories that publish them. We repeat them in good faith and correct them when we find a mistake.

When it stops being entertainment

Set a spending cap before a session and quit once it is gone. Never raise your stakes to win back a loss. When betting starts to cost more than money — sleep, work, family — counsellors at ConnexOntario pick up on 1-866-531-2600: the line is free, confidential and staffed 24 hours a day. Casinos generally provide deposit caps, time-outs and self-exclusion as well, and these work best when set before trouble starts. Our responsible gambling page goes further.

Payment methods and fees

Dossiers list the deposit and withdrawal options a casino advertised to Canadian players on inspection day, such as Interac e-Transfer, iDebit, MuchBetter, prepaid vouchers, cards and crypto wallets. Whether a method works for you also depends on your bank, your province and the payment provider, any of which may decline a gambling transaction or charge a fee we never saw. Currency conversion is another trap: an account kept in euros or US dollars can cost you on every deposit and every cash-out. Treat our payment tables as a starting point and confirm the details in the cashier before you send money.

Live dealer and sports content

Some pages cover live dealer tables or sports betting sections run by the same operators. Table limits, studio hours, streaming quality and betting markets are set by the studio or the bookmaker and change without notice. Odds quoted in an article were correct when written and are never an offer from us. Nothing on the site is a tip or a prediction you should stake money on.

English and French versions

CasinoInspectors publishes in English and in French. The two versions are written for the same readers but are not always updated on the same day, so a figure may be newer in one language than in the other. Where the versions differ, the one with the later inspection date is the better guide, and the operator's own terms prevail over both.

What readers tell us

Dossiers sometimes mention complaints or experiences sent in by readers. We publish them only after checking what we can, such as screenshots, dates and the operator's response, but we cannot confirm every detail of someone else's account. A reader's report describes one case; it is not proof that every player will meet the same problem.

How far our responsibility goes

Dossiers are checked with care, yet casinoinspectors.com comes as it stands, with no promise of accuracy or fitness for any purpose. As far as the law permits, Flamingrove Content N.V. will not answer for losses tied to relying on our pages, to choosing to gamble, to an operator's conduct or to downtime of the site. Consumer protections that the law makes mandatory still apply.
